The Waterstones Art Launch

Waterstones bookshops across the UK are introducing dedicated in-store art and craft departments, offering a curated selection of art supplies, creative materials, and artist tools available for purchase. To celebrate the launch, I had the exciting opportunity to participate in a special event alongside my publisher, Search Press, and three other talented artists working across a variety of artistic mediums.

Throughout the afternoon, we hosted a series of interactive art workshops for groups of 15–20 participants. Attendees had the unique chance to test out new painting kits, drawing tools, and explore fresh techniques in a hands-on setting. My workshop focused on exercises featured in my book, offering an in-depth breakdown of creative processes, painting techniques, and drawing exercises that help unlock artistic potential.

This collaboration between Waterstones and leading artists aims to inspire creativity and make high-quality art education and art materials more accessible to hobbyists, students, and professional artists alike.
