Photography

Throughout my travels and creative career I've picked up a wide range of photographic skills, styles and techniques that help not only to document my inspirations and journeys but also offer ideas towards potential freelance projects. I shoot with a Nikon setup and am highly experienced in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom for essential post-production requirement. As a student I spent long nights learning to shoot the night sky and spend time burning and dodging in the dark room.

I regularly contribute online to #igerstaunton and Somerset Camera Club.

A study in stars

Im a keen astronomer and still amazed at what the camera picks up that remains invisible to the naked eye. I'm often setting up to capture a star trail or catch a glimpse of the International Space Station.

Vietnam

Lucky to travel the world a few years ago, I was bowled over by the people of Vietnam. These shots are my beginning to exploring a wider gallery  of World photography.

A range of mostly experimental imagery around colour and shape. I'm constantly in search for bokeh and combined with my love of the city, geometric relationships always inspire.

Water shots

Living near the Devon and Cornwall coastline lends itself to experiment with long exposure photography. These are a collection of my most pleasing shots with a 10 stop ND filter.

Retrica skies

If the sun's out them I'm usually out. I can easily get consumed by dramatic cloud formations and the dance of light and shadow. This collection shows a range of sky shots taken with the help of a range of colour filters.

Love of the city

Born and raised in the city, I find calm and a certain 'edge' in the melee of a chaotic London. The city delivers my love for the speed, artistic form, architecture and people.

Circle

The landscape or panoramic shot warped to create a true 360 degree image. This certainly satisfies my love of the abstract and the need to push photography as a form of art. These are meant to inspire
